The task
An experimental short film in response to “Be A Lady They Said”. It is about the contradicting demands on creative people: be original, but don't take risks. Be fast, but be brilliant.
What I did
I wrote the concept and the voice-over, directed the shoot in a white studio and edited the film. Low shutter, prisms, snap zooms and jump cuts make the pressure visible. I also cut a version and posts for social media.
